                                  Trees are green gold
Trees are important because they give us fresh air to breathe , food to eat and shelter from sunlight and rainfall. They are serving as the foundation for a healthy and balanced environment.
Life on Earth is dependent on trees and sunlight. Trees are a gift of nature and are of great importance for all living beings. There are ample uses for trees as they are a part of the biosphere. Trees are the most valuable source of life as they provide us oxygen for living.
Actually, trees are living beings, just like people and animals

And to protect this precious gift of God from cutting we the students of B.A(J&MC) from Amity University performed a Nukkad natak. The name of the Nukkad natak was Maru Katha. In which natak we had shown how the villagers protected the khejari tree from cutting. They sacrificed themselves to protect the tree.
The theme of the natak was the chipko movement and the natak was performed in kant village of Jaipur district. To aware the audience about the importance of trees. We should protect them and promote afforestation as much
“plant a tree, so the next generation can get air for free”
