Animals are an integral part of our world. They bring joy and sense of companionship into our lives. From pets to stray animal, they face numerous challenges while navigating in a world dominated by humans. Many animals face various risks and dangers, particularly on road. Stray animals often wander onto busy roads in search of food and shelter, placing themselves at high risk of accidents.
Amity University, Jaipur, is situated on NH 11 C. There are few small villages near the university. The villagers own many cattle herds. When they unleash them to roam around, these innocent animals come on road, in night time, the drivers are unable to see them and any times accidents cause deaths of these creatures

Animals play a crucial role in our planet. They enrich our lives and give us a sense of connection. They have several difficulties while navigating in a world where humans predominate, whether they are pets or stray animals. Numerous animals are exposed to numerous threats and risks, notably on roads. In their search for food and shelter, stray animals frequently venture onto busy roadways, where they put themselves in serious danger.
On NH 11 C, Amity University in Jaipur is located. A few tiny communities are located close to the institution. The people own numerous herds of livestock. When they are let loose to roam, these helpless animals cross roads at night, when vehicles cannot see them, and sometimes accidents result in the collapse of these creatures.
Students from the Amity School of Communication’s BJMC 2nd semester took the initiative to travel to these villages and collar the animals with light reflector collars in order to protect them from similar accidents.

After approaching PEHCHAN NGO, who was glad to give us the collars gratis, 14 students travelled to adjacent villages with the help of their teacher. The first visit to the communities was a success. The villagers were enthusiastic and supportive of the project. We went to their homes and manually fastened these collars around the necks of the animals (goats, cows, dogs, and oxen).
The primary objectives of this were to protect animals and advance a world in which humans and animals can live side by side in peace. Just like people, animals are able to feel pain, fear, and delight. By putting their safety first, we promote a kind culture that respects all life forms.

We all have a responsibility to ensure the safety of animals. Animal lives can be significantly impacted by our actions. So take healthy actions that transform our environment for the better, not just for people but also for these helpless animals.
